UB Software

Ultimate Bet already had one of the most highly praised user interfaces of any of the online poker sites, but after its transformation to UB it underwent yet another lauded upgrade. This latest iteration of the client has a sleek white, grey, and black design with a highly functional setup. Games and stakes are sifted between by using simple buttons or, if you need a bit more refinement, a powerful Filter option. Using this filter you can specify the stakes right through to the average number of players per flop.

There are a number of customizable options available to users of the UB software client. You can switch between a traditional and four color deck, decide whether or not the table view displays the current pot size, and even change between a number of different backgrounds. The virtual felt is yours to bend and stretch as you see fit, as all the tables are fully resizable and come complete with a mini-view for ease of multi-tabling.

One of the most popular additions to the package of UB client features was the Ultimate Buddy service. This allows you to add specific players who you can easily locate and keep track of. In addition to your favorite playing partners, you can also use this tool to monitor on which tables the loosest fish are currently donating their bankrolls. You can specify a specific sound for when certain players sign in and append advanced notes to any player in your list.

If, once in a while, you fancy a break from poker, UB has laid on a Blackjack game for your delectation. There’s also a play money version, if you’re worried about gambling away any of those hard fought poker winnings. Using the UB software, you can keep track of your hand histories with ease. In addition to a graphical Playback feature at the table, the text files can be saved to your computer for use with programs like Poker Tracker.
